Civil War Trust

The Civil War Trust was approached by the National Park Service (NPS) and the State of Colorado to preserve a critical 640-acre tract at the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. The 640-acre tract was transferred to NPS for incorporation into the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site. The Trust is one of numerous Colorado organizations that supported this effort.
