Saira Yasmin Hamidi

Saira was born abroad, raised in California, and finished high school and college in Colorado. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and her graduate degree from Columbia University. Saira brings more than 15 years of experience in mission-driven work to The Colorado Trust, including international philanthropy, global education, community organizing, and social justice theatre. She has lived and worked in four countries, has studied eight languages, and has all the confusion to show for it. She enjoys writing, baking with her daughter, and connecting with others over food; she also likes experimenting with fermentation, namely her home-brewed kombucha.
