Ben grew up in Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in French. He also holds a Master of Public Health in health policy and management from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. His professional experience ranges from global health research capacity building to local public health program management and evaluation. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, traveling and the great outdoors.
