Capacity Building Assistance

Overview

This initiative provides programmatic funding to organizations that serve as subject matter experts for each of the three strategic plan focus areas (food, housing, and mental and behavioral health) as well as for organizational infrastructure. They will work over the grant period to provide short- or longer-term support to Community Resilience Initiatives grantees to assess their capacity-building needs, provide tailored and general learning and growth opportunities, and create tools and resources necessary to advance their fields.

OMNI Institute

Support for coaching, technical assistance and creating a resource hub for Community Resilience Initiatives mental and behavioral health grantees.

The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger

Support for technical assistance and coaching to Community Resilience Initiatives food grantees, training them to use the organization’s food sovereignty toolkit and helping grantees create their own blueprints.
