The Colorado Trust Appoints Monalisa Olarte as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

The Colorado Trust, a foundation dedicated to creating fair and equal opportunities for Coloradans to lead healthy lives, announced the hiring of Monalisa Olarte as vice president & chief financial officer. Olarte’s first day at The Colorado Trust is on Feb. 14, 2022.
Olarte spent the past two years as chief financial officer at Emancipet, a nonprofit chain of pet clinics in Texas and Pennsylvania aimed at making veterinary care more accessible and affordable. She previously worked in market forecasting, financial analysis and business planning for VRBO, Converse and American Airlines. Olarte earned a master’s degree in international business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. In her spare time, she has volunteered with the YWCA, Junior Achievement and other organizations. “We are thrilled to have Monalisa joining our team to oversee finance and operations,” said Don Mares, interim president & chief executive officer of The Colorado Trust. “Her passion for mission-driven work, combined with her varied accomplishments in the financial field, make her ideally suited to help us advance the health and well-being of the people of Colorado.”About The Colorado Trustwww.coloradotrust.org.
