January 17, 2013
This paper examines the policies from the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) that relate to racial/ethnic health disparities and discusses what Colorado is already doing to reduce disparities. It also looks at what Colorado policymakers can learn from other states’ experiences and how they could use those lessons and the ACA to move forward in eliminating racial/ethnic health disparities.
