After-school Programming in Colorado – Needs Assessment Highlights

To help identify both priority after-school programming needs and specific areas requiring increased attention and support, The Colorado Trust conducted a needs assessment based on a survey of 101 youth-serving agencies. Key findings include the need to make after-school programs more widely available, particularly to underserved youth; programs need to ensure quality and increase their ability to serve an increasingly diverse population; and the need to develop adequate, stable funding.
